20 Worldwide nudist resorts on Booking.com

Finding a new nudist resort has for a long time been a pain in our naked behinds. We have to admit that we don’t just settle for the first option that comes in sight though. It must have a good atmosphere, a pool for our daily skinny dip, maybe a cool nude beach, and so on. You probably know what we’re talking about. This is OUR nude vacation and we want our nude resort to be perfect. To save ourselves and many other nudists a lot of hassle, we invented NUDE. This way we had an overview of all naturist holiday spots around the world and we could read about the experiences of others.
Then another problem appeared. The booking system. When we go to textile places it’s easy, we just use Booking.com. But apparently, very few nudist resorts appear on that website.

We all know why this happens, right? Sometimes the resort owners get enough bookings from returning guests so they don’t feel the need to give a percentage of their income to Booking.com. Or it happens that the owners are from a generation that never picked up on the internet thing and sometimes… dare we say this out loud? Sometimes they don’t like direct bookings because they want to check who made the reservation before approving it.
Luckily, there are some great nudist resorts around the world which you can book directly online!

  1. O again, i just cant help it lol .. half of these are adults only ,or even worse to me, couples only , kinda gives u a hint, and also half of them look like an elite resorts, and again i just cant help it, i really find it hard to put all of it under the same roof.
Yayayaya.. i know, we talked about this before, but thats simply a fact.
I cannot comprehend to put an all inclusive 5 star ,adults only resort in the same cup as lets say that Dutch place ,or some public beach place where literally a homeless person on a cycle can go , or a bunch of 13yos punks with nothing else to do , with just a towel to lay on.
It just hurts my eyes and intelect (not that im a dr. or anything remotly similar)

    Reply
    • Actually only 3 of them explicitly say that they’re adults only 😉
And couples only… what hint exactly does it give you? If you’re pointing towards it being a swingers place… Are resorts that allow both couples and singles for those who like threesomes then? It’s all in your perception. If you believe nudity must be sexual you can see these hints everywhere.

And yes, there are places for all budgets. Different people appreciate different things. Some nudists don’t have a car, others drive a Bentley. One doesn’t make somebody more nudist than the other. And being a nudist doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy luxury.

      Reply
      • Well i dont know .. somehow it sounds more accepting and nicer to say kids free zone ,resort, hotel, … then adults only, cause we all know whats behind those words, so ppl shouldnt use the same words for different meanings.
Its not about perception its about facts , and yes, if its a couples only resort, again, pretty good hint whats behid it, i mean whats next? Blondes only resort? Tattoo ppl only resort? White/black ppl only resort? ..
Its not about believing or not if nudity is sexual but when u have a place called adults only or couples only ,with whole honesty and respect, one has to be a moron or an innocente 2yo not to think its a sex resort…
If they say for porn that its for adults only (ya right it is .. name one that hasnet watched any b4 18).. then for resorts they should use another therm …
Same as nudies are pissed that the swingers hijacked the name and now cause of that every1 thinks that nudists are swingers and its all a big huge orgie, same can be said about this ,no?
If nudism isnt sexual or sex, then swingers shouldnt use nudism when they mean sex orgies resort/beach/camp ,right? And that would help nudists alot for ppl not think stuff n stuff about them right? I mean .. if thats really actually bothering nudists/naturisrs at all ..
Well then the same thing can be said for what i wrote .. dont call it adults only or couples only, if it REALLY is just a place, where ppl dont want kids around cause of the quiet and peace or a break time , just call it a damn kids free resort ,if one uses the other therm, by default its connected to sex or lets say, connected to something that kids cant do/attend.

As far as the resorts and luxury, we talked b4 about it, as i said then, to me ,naturism by default cant be ,shouldnt be luxury, and it also proves that the old saying all nudies are the same isnt true, cause if they were ,they could all visit every resort.
Now, i dont care , i dont mind, i dont mind if Elon Musk would be a nudist on Mars! , but we wouldnt be the same, cause u and i cant go to Mars..
And again that has something to do with the first part of the msg, and thats that we shouldnt use words that can mean something else, ..ya i know it sounds nice, sounds like a nice promo, to attract ppl, but its not real, and it shouldnt be used, cause its simply not true.

        Reply
        • We agree that a kids free resort sounds better than “adults only”, given the background of the latter term in the porn industry. But we’ve gotten the experience that “adults only” does not necessarily mean a sex resort. Maybe “kids free” sounds too negative? Too discriminating? We don’t know. Maybe you’re the first person ever who came up with the term.

As for “couples only”, this has a complete different meaning in nudism and many nudists will agree about this. It means that single men are not allowed. It’s a difficult topic and we’re not going to discuss this right now, but you can be sure that this is the meaning.

Just like the other nudist values we’ve discussed previously, you also shouldn’t take “everyone is the same” that literally. What is meant is that with clothes a social boundary is removed which makes us treat people more like equals. Although we clearly know that one has more money than the other. Funny you mention Elon Musk, some time ago we were hanging with a guy at a nudist resort who had one of those expensive Teslas. We chatted about the car, he gave us a ride, clearly it was no secret or so. But in the way we communicated from the first minute it didn’t matter at all whether he had the Tesla or an old bicycle.

We understand what you mean when we talk about those luxurious resorts, but even at a 5 euro campground people show up with a 150 000 euro camper. There’s no way of avoiding the signs of capitalism, it’s all about the way we handle it.

          Reply
          • N&L ,i dunno what kind of impression i give out, maybe you recall some of the “old days” lol ,emailing, however, i ,for as far as i go, i really dont care or in that sence mind ,who ever does what where with whom in any imaginable sence or way, the only thing i do mind is the wronguse of words, cause that way words are loosing their meaning.
I know that in ur experience, adults only can really mean just adults only and nothing else, but to the “bad textiles” as my self, thats a great reason for calling out.. now imagine a total textile stranger ,what would they think?
I dunno if kids free is positive or negative, but im always coming back to the same thing, if nudism is for everyone ,why are there such things as adults only resorts?
Same as the couples only .. isnt not allowing single man a discrimination? If not allowing kids or singles isnt discrimination, then why is a lets say ,no gays resort one? .. Spec when nudies say that cause nudies alwyas say they are more tollerant and more accepting then textiles or whatever ..
My point is ,that alots of words ,therms, even statemants are abused, and to me, its nothing less worth then when the same thing is done with a person.

          • Somehow, when there’s nudity involved people seem to look for things to prove that it’s something sexual. While it’s not.
We’ve sent you a link the other day to an article about an adults only (clothed) restaurant. Did you think it was a sexual/swingers place?
If you read about a textile resort being adults only, do you automatically think it’s something sexual?

Being accepting and tolerant is one thing, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t like to pick our company if that’s possible. We have nothing against gays, but yet we rather go to a “regular” bar than a gay bar. We have nothing against 90 year old people, but if we have the choice we’d prefer to spend time with people closer to our own generation.

You shouldn’t see things so black and white. People like different things and it’s not because we’re nudists that we plainly like everything equally. Some time ago we met a bunch of teachers at an adults only resort. Those people spend most of their lives among kids, they love kids because otherwise they would get another job, but we can very much understand that during their 2 weeks of holiday they choose a place without children around.

          • Well ya im not gonna lie, when someone says adults only resort, yes i do think mostly its a sexual thing, regardless if its a nudie or textile resort.
Well of course, i woudlnt expect a restaurant to be a sexhouse place lol .. wth..
Buttttttt, as i said before, why is it ok then in that sence to have an adults only whatever, where basicly one discriminates anyone that isnt an adult, but its not ok to have a whites only or blacks only ,or no gay motel thing? ..
yayay i recall u said that kids are being descriminated basicly in general ..but why? I mean if we are all the same then why?
Those are the kinda things i talk about all the time, but either noone can understand it or ppl do understand it but dont care cause it doesnt bother them , aka, ya its real bad that theres war in Syria but idgaf cause it doesnt affect me.
Thats why i call out ppl always as hypocrites, cause they dont really care about stuff, ppl only care about or are being tolerant , understanding just to the level that fits their needs.
Most of the times when i speak about stuff like these, its not only really aimed and nudies only, its more of a general subject ,but the thing about nudies and those thiings is that , for ex. noone ever said ever ,anywhere, i mean on textiles, that there is nooooo way an adults only hotel, resort, fair, whatever is NOT or cant be sexual.
So ya i understand what ur saying but im afraid that most dont want to understand what i say.
As for those teachers, well ..i suppose they dont have soc media acc lol, they`d be sacked for sure.
But ya .. i udnerstand them in that sence tho, just cause they are teachers that dont mean they love kids, and just cause are teachers that dont mean they love their job, i mean, i dunno, maybe its just here, but im kida sure that most ppl actually dont do jobs they love. Just saying.

          • Actually there are quite a few men only and gay only places in the world 🙂
We get what you mean with “adults only” though, we agree that it has a certain undertone and that’s probably mainly caused by the porn industry using the same term. And surely, there are some adults only nudist places that are actually swingers resorts hiding behind the nudist name. But you can’t generalise.

          • I agree. It is about how you handle it. Have to say though, I once believed that nudism is getting hurt by all these ” swingers” hijacking the nudist name and using it to justify their way of life. However, many of those ” swingers” are nowadays GENUINE NUDISTS who are CHOOSING TO EMBRACE THEIR SEXUALITY & have no qualms doing so. THE GENERATION OF NUDISTS TODAY ARE LIVING THIS LIFE MORE THAN JUST SUNSHINE &HEALTH. They choose to be Naked, yet to be however they choose to live. And that is modern day Nudism’s paradox. Many people who are becoming nudists are doing so because of the FREE DOM & LIBERYY that Nudism provides. Now, we are expressive of ourselves just like the textiles, we want to.enjoy the best of everything like they do, ONLY WITH WITHOUT CLOTHEW. So Afults only ,and Couples only foes not necessarily have to be sexual. Non sexual nudists and sexually active nudists have to find common ground somewhere.

          • Exactly! There are so many different kinds of nudists today that it becomes hard to define the term nudism… We still believe in the “pillars” of nudism but we also think that rules should be set and made clear by the resorts. Some will follow a certain philosophy, others won’t. Some will turn more to nature, some more to comfort and some (dare we say this?) more to swingers. As long as there’s clarity about what to expect when you go to a certain place, we don’t see an issue.

  2. Thank you for the recommendations. Being in Southeast Asia I think I’ll plan a visit to stay at either Barefeet or Bali Au Naturel.

    Reply
    • Good to see we can agree on something Nick & Lin’s!! I have been making that point for years, but many traditional nudists insist that Nudity is ONLY about Health & Wellbeing. Which it truly is, but Not everyone joining the Nudist ranks are joining just for that. There are Nudist resorts that cater to sexually active nudists. Cap’dagde ,the largest nudist city in the world, accommodates swingers and sexually active nudists while still allowing for families on their facilities. The Spanish nudist village, Vera Playa ( I believe) does the same. This is why they are so very popular. All any nudist who wants to visit a well known Nudist resort and have sex is find out the rules and regulations set by the resort. So even if they visit family friendly resorts like LAKE COMO or LAGUNA DEL SOL in the United States, there will be no difficulties once that nudist couple realises they have to be discreet with their sexual activities and follow the park/resort rules.

      Reply
      • Cap d’Agde is a difficult example because it’s a mix of different places (so is Vera Playa). The original camping, René Oltra, is still completely family oriented. But there are many other places in the village where everything is possible.

We do have big issues with resorts that allow/promote public sex while still calling themselves a nudist/naturist resort. Why do they do that? Just call yourself a “lifestyle” resort or “sensual” resort or “liberal resort like they do here in Brazil. What do they want to get from calling themselves a nudist resort? Attract unknowing nudists hoping to draw them over the line? Or attract swingers who don’t dare to call themselves swingers?

The non-sexual nudity is something we mean with the “pillars” of nudism. But it’s often misunderstood. Nudists are not asexual. It just means that there should be no sex in public. Personally we have no issue with swingers, as long as they keep their activities in their room. It doesn’t bother us if they want to spend the night with 2, 4, 6 or whatever

      • Nick Lins..

I think what they wanna do, and i think i already mentioned this before .. is either they dont really know what the hell they are doing lol ,they are afraid to call them selfs what they really are or what kind their resort really is, or maybe when we talked before and i mentioned someting about some “new morals” ,maybe they wanna normalize all of those things, like some cultures had before in old times? No shame no hiding regardless.

  3. Thank you for the international listings on nudist resorts around the world!! I had no idea Bali Indonesia had a nudist resort! Although I know due to the Orthodox Muslim influence, public nudity is not allowed. So now I have an idea where I would like to visit when I start my nude vacation. I am also inspired to still create a Nude group in Trinidad and Tobago that can cater to nude visitors. But just like Indonesia, public nudity is not allowed here either.

    • We’ve been to Au Naturel in Bali and we can certainly recommend it. We also believe that the owner has a lot of influence to keep his resort going in a Muslim country. Although the large majority on Bali is actually Hindu.

      Reply
        • There you’re making the same mistake as we did when we went to Asia… Assuming that Hindus are open minded. They are not when it comes to recreational nudity. It’s really strange, you can see naked people bathing in rivers all the time, but nude sunbathing is something really not done.

          Reply
  4. Really strange indeed, I have met open minded Nudist couples in India online ( albeit, they are swingers),& the people of East Indian descent in my country of Trinidad & Tobago are not backwards when it comes to sex and Nudity. Many of them are practicing Hindus as well. Guess I assumed wrong.

    • We’ve met quite a lot of Muslim nudists while we were in Asia, that doesn’t really mean that Islam is open to public nudity 🙂
